What?

Learn from one of the country’s top wedding lensman Nelwin Uy as he shares with you his insights about wedding photography on a 2 day workshop that will focus on you as a photographer, you as a business owner and you as an entrepreneur.

 

In this intense workshop, we will be focusing mainly on branding, marketing, stepping ahead with competitors in this aggressive market, finding the right clients for you and managing their expectations. We will teach you how to flourish your own style and creativity and how to apply them in your business. Nelwin Uy will introduce to you his style and approach in shooting weddings/engagements, as well as his simple yet effective post processing techniques that is elegant and timeless. Will also discuss his workflow from the moment clients books you to final delivery.

Dan Matutina (Designer/Illustrator) – Design and branding

Dan Matutina is a designer and illustrator based in the Philippines. His illustration style is a mix of handmade and digital, clean and dirty, old and modern aesthetics. He loves mixing colors with different textures and shapes to tell a story.

He was one of the co-founders of Ideals – a social enterprise design and communications agency. He just recently started Plus63 Design Co. A newish graphic design studio.

Michelle Katigbak Alejandro has loved both photography and weddings for as long as she can remember. Having started out in the newspaper and magazine business well over a decade ago, she has had the honor and privilege of working with some of the best photographers in the country. Michelle also handled wedding coordination for The Peninsula Manila for two years which has given her extensive training in all aspects of weddings as well. She took over Metro Weddings Magazine, the premiere wedding magazine of ABS-CBN Publishing, in 2008 and has remained happily rooted in the wedding world ever since. As a veteran in the publishing industry, Michelle knows how to spot wedding photos that are a perfect fit for publication. She counts herself lucky getting to be a part of so many wonderfully romantic stories and diverse beautiful imagery.

A Biology Major, Dylan runs the flower company, Vatel Manila, which provides entourage flowers for weddings in Metro Manila, Boracay, & other major cities in the Philippines.

 

Together with some former brides, he also formed the craft team, {etc} Handmade Goodness, which specializes in creating customized, non-floral items for weddings like nests and pillows for rings & coins, as well as highly personalized boutonnieres, among other items.

 

The works of both VM & {etc} have appeared in international weddings blogs like Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, & Rock N’ Roll Bride. Locally, the weddings his team has worked on are regularly featured on Bride & Breakfast & Bridal Book.

 

He is also the Manager for Operations of The Mango Farm, an events venue in Antipolo.

A risk taker, entrepreneur and artist from the south of Davao. A graduate of fine arts major in painting. Started his photography business in the province but in a very short span of time, have been to many parts of the world shooting weddings and e-session.

The INVESTMENT

The 2-day workshop fee is P20,000 which already includes lunch, snacks and unlimited supply of coffee. There will also be a wrap up dinner/drinks on last day of the workshop.

A P5,000 reservation fee which is non-refundable/non-transferable is required in order for us to reserve a seat for you. Full payment on the first day of the workshop.
